A man defiles a two year old girl and got sentenced to life imprisonment in Ogun State.
The 35-year-old man, Adekunle Olalere has been sentenced to life imprisonment for molesting a two year old girl.
Olalere who had pleaded not guilty, was convicted on Tuesday of one count of having sexual intercourse with the victim by the Ogun state High Court. He was then sentenced to life imprisonment
The prosecutor, Mrs Oluyemisi Aleruba, had told the court during the trial that the victim’s mother was helping Olalere’s wife with sales and living with them.
According to her on the 22nd of March, 2017, the convict forcefully had sexual intercourse with the two year old.
“The victim’s mother met her two-year-old daughter crying and noticed that she was not walking properly. Hence, she checked her daughter’s private parts and noticed that they were swollen.
“She took the child to the hospital , where it was confirmed that there was presence of sperm cells in her private parts. Also revealed that the child had been sexually abused by the convict.” Mrs Oluyemisi said.
The judge, Justice Abiodun Akinyemi, sentenced Olalere to life imprisonment, delivering that based on the evidence, he was guilty as charged.
